And no, that was NOT me sipping a bit of rum punch while pregnant...what kind of woman do you think I am?

haha! I thought it was beer, until I saw the orange tinge of the foam and then I thought it was carrot juice, until I saw the ice-cubes and then I thought who drinks liquor and orange crush.. it's gotta be something else... rum-punch, you say? I gotta try that.

A friend of mine, fluently French-English bilingual, said she only ever read the French pregnancy books -- because they let you have a drink a day!

Wow....absolutely gorgeous. And for the record, I drank NOTHING w/ Connor & more than plenty with Gracie.....so, if that means anything!?!?
And what I meant is that Connor is the one with a 'diagnosis' or two and completely high-strung and Gracie is (for the most part) chill to the max.
i love your ring. i took more than a sip (not a lot though). one evening we were out at an event and i was having a near beer and you'd think i was walking in the room with a knife covered in blood for the looks i was getting. (=
I drank for a week and used Cocaine when I thought I'd miscarried Oee.. a few weeks later when I found out I'd had a 'threatened abortion' (near-miss miscarriage), I was scared out of my mind and researching all the FAS and FAE did not help, but I had her, anyway and thank God, she's fine. It's not always this way.. a lot of it has to do with what part of the pregnancy you drink during. I wouldn't recommend it at all, just in case, but one isn't so bad.
I 'know a girl' who drank a beer once in a while during breastfeeding, when she really needed the extra sleep. One. Once in a while.

Ah, I sipped here and there, including at Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners with my 2 doctor in-laws and smiled brightly afterwards. Cheers!

As for rum punch, I am fairly certain it cannot be resisted by anyone, much less someone newly partnered, preggers or not. I wouldn't judge you if you ended up drinking a whole pitcher, dontcha know?
