Driving home after a long day:
Me: What should we do when we get home?
M: I know! I'll watch my show while you make dinner for me!
Me: Ah, I see. Is that how it's going to be?
M: Yes! Because we are team, right? This is TEAMWORK! I LOVE teamwork!
Nicely done, kid. Very smooth.

She's got it down. The good life.
Heidi
And I love your girl, her logic and quick thinking is inspired.
Yeah, I'm one half of an S&M couple too.
LOL! What a clever girl. :)

Using My Words
Oh yeah. My kids are on her team too.
*snort*
Nice work, M. teamwork
I think she's been talking to PunditGirl again ... this sounds SOOOO familiar!
Whoa. I have a daughter who likes to help out in the kitchen, and sometimes, doing your part for the team means sitting on the bench (couch) and cheering (staying out of the way).
Don't knock it.
How do I get M's position on the Team?
Sounds like she's been watching the Backyardigans.
There is a certain pure logic to that. I'm gonna try that one! LOL
She's a clever kid.
Genius!
She's got your number. Little smarty pants.
ha ha ha! Hey... anything that gets the kid from yanking on your arm while cooking, right? I've been there.
I want to be on M's team!
She is a clever little girl, your M.
Lol! Being part of a 'team' certainly helps alleviate the feeling of just being someone's bitch, doesn't it?
She's sooo smart! Love her!
I'm going to try this approach on my husband. It'll leave him stunned even if I'm not cute enough to pull it off.
What a smartie! I need to take some tips from her!
She's fabulous.
The teamwork in my house is very similar. I ask the boys to help me clean up and Matt pipes up "Well, mom, why don't YOU clean up and we'll watch"
UH, yeah...gotta love little person teamwork logic.
This will give you hope. Tomorrow (Friday) my daughter has no school and i will be at my volunteer thing much of the day. So she's going to make dinner. How cool is that?
Oh M.
You have the world by the short and curly's already.
I DARE someone to ask her for help. She'll make it feel like they helped themselves! :)
I like how she marketed the TV watching: Teamwork!
My kinda girl.
this is brilliant! bless her!
Clearly Mama didn't raise no fool ;)
I love it.
Maybe she will be in politics.
Jen, when did she grow up? Dude.
go team go!
Inspired, really, don't you agree?
