hazy shade of purple
We had all the different egg dyes spread out in various cups and bowls, the purple in my favorite mug. No one was more surprised than me when I picked it up and absentmindedly took a huge gulp. Nice. My mouth looked like that blueberry girl from Willy Wonka and not in a good way. Then I accidentally knocked over the cup holding the seemingly gallon sized cup of green dye, covering everyone's eggs and table and floor and my favorite jeans in green. M on the other hand didn't wreak any havoc whatsoever. She clearly takes after her father. Let's just hope that whole non-toxic thing is true. Happy Easter, in whatever form today means for you.

and that picture made me sad b/c today was the first easter in my entire life that i didn't have peeps. stupid weight watchers.

I simply couldn't do it, the dye, the fragile eggs, no, we decorated eggs made from construction paper and glue stick.

we did eggs---outside. we had some cracks and spills, but whatevs. i can't care. i'm gwine go shove a few blue peeps in mah mouf.

Happy Peep Strip tease. I love it, the pink bunnies all dolled up and using the pole. The plump male chicks reclining into their chairs. Such judgment on their Peep faces.

Ha ha! I dyed eggs with our 17mo ol and looked up to see him putting the dye-covered, vinegary spoon into his mouth. I think he learned his lesson.
I'm clumsy in a different sort of way... I tend to walk into pillars and posts... Or almost walk into them... And i search for my spectacles when i have them in my hand...
