it was 99 degrees inside our house yesterday. it's early, and it's already up to 80. inside.

102 yesterday.. supposed to be 103 today. 8.50 a.m. and the air conditioner is already cranking.
ah yes. but for those with no air. we will slowly and surely die. dramatics and all.
that is unheard of for the SF area, however, I used to live in Bakersfield, and around this time of year we rejoiced if it was only a 2 digit temperature.
(go spend all day at the over ACed movie theatre, mall, museums or restaurants)

Our power went out two days ago in heat like that...awful.
How odd, that we are getting some sort of good luck with our temps in the Midwest? It's been in the
80's here at the hottest. But we still run our a.c. So it's never over 75 inside. Bad, I know. We are spoiled.
