I mean, who needs snow when you can swim in this?
Or gaze at this?
Or eat dinner on the beach watching the sun slip behind the Caribbean?
Or curling up reading here? Without a jacket? Or shoes?

warmth
I thought sharing some vacation warmth might be nice right about now, especially with all the snow falling everywhere on so many of you. Because no matter how great snow is, nothing is better than the warm sun.

Wishing you much sunshine and warmth in 2008!
Ya, ya but our snow is very, very pretty right now. Come back to me with these pictures in late February and I'll be weak in the knees. Right now, I'm kinda revellin' in the seasons.
Still. Those photos are fantastic.
The photos are beautiful. The sunset reminds me of another place with which we are both familiar. :)
Gorgeous. Just gorgeous.
Stunning. Stunning!
fantastically perfect. i still want to be you when i grow up!
You know, I enjoyed a Corona with my hubby late this afternoon but experience tells me that it would have tasted a lot better looking at that sunset.
*Sigh*
Maybe next year.
Like Mad, snow has yet to really wear out its welcome for me. Give me a couple of months, though, and those pictures will make me weep with frustrated longing....
Mmmmm. Pretty. I hope you had a nice beverage in your hand too.
*happy sigh*
Fabulous pictures, Jen. I'll be back looking for these in March, when the snow is getting black and yucky, and the thrill of fighting with the children to put their bulky outerwear on has worn off big time! :)

Aaaaah. So nice of you to share these. I find the colors quite cheering.
Right now, though, I think a picture of a bed would be equally alluring. I think I will now go find a bed. I have not spent enough time gazing at the insides of my eyelids for the past couple of weeks.
You know, if we actually HAD snow, that photo wouldn't be as appealing - I like snow (at least one good one per season), but cold without snow sucks. Needless to say, that's looking pretty good right now.
Oooooh
Aaaaah
Lovely! They look like postcard pictures!
Unlike Mad and Beck, I am over the snow (hard to run in it and the slippery ice hidden underneath), so I'm happy to dream.
Gostei muito desse post e seu blog é muito interessante, vou passar por aqui sempre =) Depois dá uma passada lá no meu site, que é sobre o CresceNet, espero que goste. O endereço dele é http://www.provedorcrescenet.com . Um abraço.
We're awaiting a dumping of several inches tonight. these will keep me warm.
Thank you for this New Year's gift - it is lovely...
I don't have snow here - but I don't have any of that either - thanks for the brief trip to Paradise! Hope you are having a wonderful Holiday and I wish you a very Happy New Year, my friend. See you soon. Kellan
Wow. Beautiful. Of course that sounds like our weather here more or less but while our water and beaches are okay, they are nowhere near that gorgeous!

Using My Words
It's pouring rain outside-thanks so much for those lovely photos to warm heart and soul!
These are wonderful pictures and I can taste your travel. But I must admit that I still need snow. :) I'm contary that way.
looks fabulous!!!
Seriously, thank you. I just jacked up the heat because it's so cold in here and then came to this...paradise.
Happy New Year to you and yours.
Ah, nice pictures. I just can't imagine shedding any layer of clothing right now but I remember.
I wish you and your fmaily a very happy new year.
I can hear the surf and feel the warm wind.
Beautiful.
Ahhh.
Ahhh.
Your pictures *almost* make me wish I was still living on my sailboat in Guam. But then I remember the typhoons, sleeping naked on a towel to absorb the sweat, putting a dishtowel under my forearm when writing letters so the sweat wouldn't ruin the paper, mosquitoes, brown tree snakes, etc.......
and I look outside at this lovely snow.
And I'm just fine where I am.
Peace and Happy New Year!
Those are perfect - thanks!
Oh how I miss the warm beaches of Hawaii... it really was lovely to live there for a few years.
But our Christmas in a rather cold Scotland with the extended family had a lot to offer as well, I suppose. Especially the wee ones, who got to spend lots of time with their cousins. ;-)
sigh.
and me. Walking thru the door. cold cervezas in hand.
Ooh, thank you! Gorgeous pics...
All I can say is, Wow!
My feet are freezing, this is fabulous :)
The photos are gorgeous!
Thanks for sharing it...
Lovely. It got up to 60 here today and I wanted to roll naked in the brown grass I have not seen in a couple weeks ... sigh.
oh how these pictures reflect the current state of my heart. i am dreaming of beaches...
ah, that looks like heaven to me right now..
