I was so thrilled to hear McCain's concession speech, and Obama's acceptance speech in the middle of the night (over here).
I was less thrilled to see the Proposition 8 numbers on the LA Times site this morning... my old state really let me down on that one.

I imagine you, collapsed in an exhausted, delighted heap today.
Here was my "well, you never know, do you?" moment of the day so far: I have a student whose father is a Nigerian diplomat; the father was raised in Nigeria, but my student has been raised around the world, finally landing in Minnesota. He is, thus, African-American.
But he supported McCain and is not thrilled that Obama won. So I was reminded anew that people are always more complicated than any of us thinks.
Woo hoo!
Hallelujah! I couldn't be more thrilled!!!! I'm just giddy today, although exhausted from it all. That angel chorus kept me up all night :)
The impromptu march upon the white house was a bit freaky, though.
