the praising of all things holy indeed!
Frame it and crack open the champers tonight!
congrats girl.
perfect, just in time for you to start incurring new school debt on behalf of your child. (sorry, I couldn't resist...)
Woo hoo! It is going to be a few more years before I get to see THAT letter.
Congrats, woman.
Congratulations!!! Excellent news.
Hoooooooray!!!
YEEEES! I am within spitting distance of paying off one of mine, too. Good times.
Very cool indeed. That must be a huge burden lifted!! My sister insisted on going to an Ivy League school and I think she will be paying that crap off when she is 80.
Congrats!
Poetry... You received poetry in the mail!!!!
That is one letter that's like finding $100 on the street. Congratulations girlfriend!! Now just think of the extra dinero you now can spend on yourself, family or whatever else you can dream of!
This IS a happy day!
Did you tell them "See ya, fuckers!"?
Congratulations! What a freaking relief it must be.
Ugh, though. Just ugh.
I feel the weight of the loans for Rav's education....and now to compound matters, adding my loans to the mix.
What a banner day for love letters! I wonder what tree you'd be, if your feelings were like vegetation? ;)
Love,
The towering redwood
Wowee! Congratulations!
YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Go buy shoes!
Man I can't wait until I get a letter like that. It should be soon. But congratulations to you...must feel pretty good.
Congratulations! Keep that particular letter, but I recommend gathering up all but the last of your most recent student loan statements and have a bonfire. Roast some marshmellows. Good times.
We felt a bit like this when the title to our car arrived in the mail a couple of months ago. No more car payments, yee-haw!
Congrats! Do a little happy dance and give the finger in their general direction while dancing to some rockin' tunes.
Mine's been paid off for decades, however I am now paying off my son's. Sigh...
Fantastic! Can't wait until that letter comes to my house in, oh, another 10-15 years or so.
SWEET! Congrats. It's such a relief, eh?
"See ya, fuckers!" Right?
Oh, geez. Every time I think about our student debt I have a voice in my head like a delegate at a candidacy vote shouting, "Four more years! Four more years!"
Congratulations!
See ya, fuckers would have been the PERFECT answer.
Meno, you had me laughing out loud.
whoo hoo! Isn't that a great feeling?
oh yay!! oh YAY! oh holy yay!
THAT has got to feel just a wee bit good.
Carrie
What a great feeling. Perhaps you can send them a letter in gratitude with that special sign-off? On nice stationary?
hooray for you! congratulations!
That's so great. Congrats.
I'm 27 thousand in debt and two thirds through school.
ugh.
Happy for you, Jenny Talia!!
That's like burning a mortgage, only better!
Whoo-hoo! Good for you.
I know how that feels--the relief.
It took me eight years to pay mine.
That is DEFINITELY one lovely letter. Congrats!
Oh yeah sister! Feel that freedom and revel in it!
Mine took ten years to pay off and they sucked me dry the entire time. Even now, six months later, I still kiss my paycheck and run around like one of those "Finding Nemo" seagulls screaming "MINE! MINE! MINE!"
YEAH! Congratulations.
Wish I knew the feeling...
